Terms of use
This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the one that applies.

These terms govern the use of the Verigastu app and of this website. They are deliberately written in plain language. If you use the app, you accept what this text says.

1. What the service is
Verigastu is a tool that helps you record and justify your business expenses, keep the ledger and generate a supporting dossier. It is an aid: the decision about what you deduct and what you declare is yours.
Verigastu is a support tool based on criteria published by the DGT; it does not replace the advice of a tax adviser.
2. Initial phase and access by code
The product is in testing with its first users. Access is granted by means of a personal code, which is sent by email and may be revoked. The trial code is free. AI reads can also be bought in prepaid bundles, at the prices published under Price: they are paid for on our payment provider's checkout page, the invoice is issued by Fiscalidad y procesos automatizados, SL, and the code or top-up is sent by email within one working day; if you pay with the personal links we email you, the top-up happens automatically as soon as the payment is collected. There is no automated sign-up. Purchased reads never expire; when they run out, the app keeps working by hand and you do not lose access to your data.
How to buy a bundle, step by step: you choose the bundle under Price and its button takes you to our payment provider's checkout page; there you enter your name, your tax ID (NIF), your billing address and your email, and pay; within one working day you receive the code or top-up, and the invoice, by email. Before confirming the payment you can review and correct what you have entered on that same page; if you spot a mistake afterwards, write to hola@verigastu.com and we will fix it. If the email has not arrived after one working day, check your spam folder and write to that same address.
No separate contract document is filed: the contract consists of these terms, published here, where you can read, save or print them whenever you like, and the invoice for your purchase, which we send you by email and keep for as long as the law requires (section 2 of the privacy policy). The contract is concluded in Spanish; the other language versions of this website are courtesy translations.
Refunds: purchased reads are not refunded, unless the error is ours: a duplicate charge, a bundle that was not loaded onto your code, or a code that does not work and that we cannot fix. In those cases we refund the amount through the same payment method you used. All of this is without prejudice to any rights the law gives you.
The code is personal: do not share it. A shared code uses up your own limit of AI reads and may be revoked.
3. What we guarantee and what we do not
- The app is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. It is a product under development and may have errors or interruptions.
- Supporting documents are read automatically by an artificial intelligence model: it can make mistakes. That is why the app leaves blank whatever it cannot read with confidence, warns you when it is unsure and never overwrites what you have typed yourself. Always check the data before saving it.
- The tax alerts are based on criteria published by the DGT and checked against the text of the law, but legislation changes and your case may have nuances the tool is not aware of.
- The estimates the app calculates (business-use percentages, depreciation, limits) are calculations based on what you have declared in your profile, not a check of your actual situation.
4. What is your responsibility
- Keeping your original supporting documents. The law requires you to do so and the app does not relieve you of that duty: the dossier always states that the original is held by you.
- Reviewing what the app fills in before you accept it.
- Turning on the backup if you do not want to depend on a single device. Without it, your ledger lives only on your phone and we cannot recover it.
- What you declare to the tax authorities. Tax responsibility lies with the taxpayer.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app for anything unlawful, do not try to bypass the technical limits or automate the use of AI reads, and do not resell it. We may revoke a code that is used in that way.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for indirect damages, penalties, surcharges or losses arising from the use of the tool or from the inability to use it. None of this limits the rights granted to you by consumer legislation where it applies.
7. Changes and end of the service
These terms may be updated; the date of the latest version appears above. If the service were to be discontinued, reasonable notice would be given so that you can export your ledger and your supporting documents, which in any case remain on your device and in your Drive.
8. Applicable law
Spanish law applies.
