Delete your code (your account) and its data
This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the one that applies.

This page is for people who use Verigastu, the app from Fiscalidad y procesos automatizados, SL (NIF B22991186), from Google Play or at app.verigastu.es. It explains how to ask us to delete your account and its data, what we delete, what we keep and for how long. You do not need to have the app installed.
In Verigastu there is no sign-up and there are no passwords: your account is your access code, the one we emailed to you. On our server, each code appears only under a username such as “usuario12”.
How to ask
- Write to us at hola@verigastu.com, with the subject “Delete my code” if you like.
- Write from the email address we sent the code to: that is enough. If you write from another address, tell us your code or your username (the app shows it when it accepts the code: “usuario12” or similar), so that we can find it.
- Before deleting it, we may ask you to confirm from the address we sent the code to, so that nobody can delete someone else's account.
- We delete it and let you know by email within one month at most of receiving your request, which is the time limit in Article 12(3) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
From the app, you reach this page through the ⚙ menu → “🔑 Delete my code and its data…”.
Once it is deleted, your code stops working for good and you lose any AI reads you have left: purchased reads are not refunded unless the error is ours, as the terms of use say. You can keep using the app without a code, entering expenses by hand.
What we delete
- On the app's server: the hash of your code, which is replaced with a random one so that your code is never recognised again; your balance and the reads you have used, which go to zero; your monthly read counters; and your code's activation, cancellation and reactivation movements.
- If your code was created before 1 October 2026, it is also kept, as a fallback, in the server's configuration: we block it at the moment of deletion and remove its line from that configuration within the same one-month period.
- In the program that hands out the codes, hosted on Google: the record of which code was sent to your email address and when.
- In our internal records: the lines that link your username to your email address and to your code.
What we keep and for how long
- A marker showing that your code was deleted. Your username stays in the list of codes, cancelled, with a random hash instead of your code's, the counters at zero and the date of deletion. It ensures that your code can never get in again, so we do not delete it. It does not contain your name, your email address or your code.
- If you bought a bundle, what is linked to the invoice, for the six years the law requires invoices to be kept (section 2 of the privacy policy explains this): the invoice, which Stripe generates; what the server recorded about each payment (your username, the bundle, the amount, the date and the Stripe payment reference); and the line in our sales record. After that it is deleted. Stripe keeps the payment data under its own privacy policy.
- The top-ups and adjustments of reads on your code, with their date and number of reads, for six years, the same period as the invoices. They are almost always linked to a purchase, and we keep all of them, including those that are not (a correction or some free reads). After that they are deleted.
- The server's technical log, with a line containing your username and the time of each read, each check of the code and each top-up, is not deleted line by line: it deletes itself after seven days.
- The recovery copies of the app server's database, made by Cloudflare, the provider that hosts the server, keep how the database stood, minute by minute, over the last 30 days, so what we delete from it remains in those copies for up to 30 days after the deletion. Cloudflare always makes them; after that period, they expire on their own.
- The supporting documents the AI read are not kept on our server. The artificial intelligence provider deletes them within 30 days, or within up to two years if its systems detected a use that breaks its rules. As we send it neither your username nor your code, we cannot locate yours to ask it to delete them sooner.
- The emails you have sent us, including this request, are kept as section 4 of the privacy policy explains: for as long as the relationship lasts and for the time needed to meet legal obligations.
What you delete yourself
- Your ledger and your photos are not on our server: they live on your device. You delete them from the app, through the ⚙ menu → “🗑️ Empty the ledger…”.
- Your tax profile and everything else the app stores on your device (including your code) are deleted by clearing the site data for app.verigastu.es in the settings of the browser the app runs in; on Android this is usually Chrome.
- Your backup, if you turned it on, is in your Google Drive, in the VERIGASTU folder. You delete it yourself from Drive, and you can withdraw Verigastu's permission from your Google account.
If you think we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). There are more details in the privacy policy.
